Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP)

What is NLP?

NLP is the practice of understanding how people organise their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce the results they do. It describes the fundamental dynamics between mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) and how their interplay affects our body and behaviour (programming).

How can NLP help you?

NLP can help you overcome issues in your life that are stopping you doing what you want to do such as flying for example. In order to do this, it also helps you to identify the issues as they might not be what you think they are. Looking at why you are procrastinating, smoking or angry is the first step to making the change. You can visualise yourself being successful in a specific activity eg public speaking, golf. NLP techniques can help you gain the confidence to succeed in those areas or activities.

I believe that everyone has the right to make their own world based on their own values, beliefs and experience. It is only when it is no longer working for an individual that we need to encourage a positive change.

How many sessions will I need?

NLP can be a quick process to remove everyday irritations however it is much more effective if time is taken to look at why these things are happening, why we think like that and how we can change them. Some changes occur after a quick 20 minute session others may take a 6 – 8 hour session for a total change

How long is a session?

The first session is usually 90 minutes and thereafter each session will be based on one hour, however some may be longer to ensure you feel comfortable after any changes are made.
